Personal data policy
This policy on the processing of personal data (personal data policy) describes how the Sangha collects and processes information about members, participants, and users. The privacy policy applies to personal data that you provide to us or that we collect via the Sangha’s website, sanghaen.dk. We only process personal data for clear and legitimate purposes and based on the legitimate interests of the organization. We only process personal data that is relevant and necessary to fulfill the specified purposes, and we delete your information when it is no longer needed – or when you request it.
The Sangha is the data controller, and we ensure that your personal data is processed in accordance with applicable legislation.

1. Processing of personal data
When you register as a user or buy access to events or sign up for our newsletter, we ask you to provide certain personal data.
Your personal data is collected, registered, stored and used exclusively for the purpose of making it possible for you to participate in our teams and in our events. Furthermore, your personal data is used to inform you about news, events, bookings and related information as well as other offers under the auspices of the Sangha.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties and we do not transfer your personal data to third countries.
Web hotel/Hostmaster
We have our website with One.com, which acts as our data processor. All personal data that you provide on our website will be stored in One.com’s data centers. All information about customers residing in the EU is stored in One.com’s data centers in Denmark within the EU.
Newsletter
If you have given us your consent to this during the registration process or on our website, we will use your e-mail address to send out a newsletter. You can subscribe to and unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. All newsletters also contain a link to unsubscribe.
Consent
When we process information about you, it is often on a different legal basis than your consent. We therefore only obtain your consent when, in rare cases, it is necessary to process your personal data for the purposes described above.
If we obtain your consent, your consent is voluntary and you can withdraw it at any time by notifying us.
Disclosure of your personal data
We do not pass on information about you to others outside the Sangha – for example for marketing purposes – without your consent.
Storage and deletion of your personal data
We store your personal data for the duration of your membership. In addition, we store your information for three years from the date of cancellation.
2. Your rights
In order to create transparency regarding the processing of your information, we, as the data controller, must inform you of your rights.
The right of access
You have the right at any time to gain insight into the personal data that the Sangha has registered about you, e.g. what information we have registered about you, what purposes the registration serves, which categories of personal data and recipients of information may be may be, as well as information about where the information originates.
The right to rectification
You have the right to have incorrect personal data about yourself corrected.
The right to erasure
To the extent that the storage and use of your information is not necessary, e.g. to be able to comply with our accounting obligations, we are obliged to delete all or some of your personal data, should you wish to do so.
You can also request the complete deletion of all data that we have about you, including anonymisation of other data. Your data will not be able to be recreated and your volunteer/user relationship will be terminated.
The right to limit processing to storage
In certain cases, you have the right to demand that your personal data is exclusively stored and not used in e.g. marketing contexts, e.g. if you believe that the information about you is not correct.
The right to data portability
You have the right to have your personal data delivered in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and the right to have this information transferred to another data controller.
The right to object
You have the right at any time to object to our processing of your personal data for special reasons. The right to object means that you have the right to object at any time to otherwise lawful processing of your personal data if there are special reasons why you do not want your data processed.
The Sangha will decide whether the objection is justified, even if our processing of the information is otherwise legal.
The right to withdraw consent
If you have given consent to our processing of your personal data, you have the right to revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time.
The following consents can be withdrawn: permission to use your personal data to inform you about events, news and offers; and permission to process and store your personal data, by contacting the Sangha. You will find contact information at the top here in the personal data policy.
The right to complain
You have the right to lodge a complaintwith the Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet), Borgergade 28, 5, 1300 Copenhagen K about our processing of your personal data.
Revision of the personal data policy
We reserve the right to change the association’s personal data policy. When we change the personal data policy, we also change the date in this document. In the event of significant changes, you will receive notification of this.
